        Our thanks to all who came out to run and walk with us at the Hoodlebug 5K on September 10th.  We had a nice turnout, including 31 walk-in registrations.  The weather was perfect for running.

​

       Awards were presented to the top three males and females overall, and to the top three males and females in five-year age groups up to 70+.  Runners and walkers are eligible for awards, although there are no separate walker awards.  Professional timing.

​

      The 2025 Hoodlebug 5K will be held on the Sunday following Labor  Day as part of the Homer City Business Association's Annual  Fall Festival.  Registration will open after the first of the year.

Our thanks to Dean Banko, Only Eye Athletics, for producing the following video of the Hoodlebug 5K course.  Dean is  a very talented runner who is known to run many races throughout the year, often doing two or more in a single weekend.  He is also a certified running coach and the race director of the Quarry Shack 5 Miler and the Festivus For The Rest of Us 5K.
