We would like to thank all who came out to run or walk the 46th Annual Fool's Run 10K & 5K.  The week leading up to the race was rainy but that didn't seem to dampen spirits.  The morning started early with a little rain followed by a cloud burst that passed through the area shortly before the race start, stopping right before the runners headed up the trail -  good timing.

       We were pleased with the turnout for the race this year.  Participants came from all over Western Pennsylvania to run.

       Race shirts were provided by our corporate sponsors, S & T Bank and Indiana Regional Medical Center.  Participants seemed to like the new shirt design featuring Ruby the Rabbit, the granddaughter of the original Fool's Run Rabbit.     

        Awards were presented to the top-three overall male and females finishers, and the top male and females masters.  Top-three age group winners. as noted below, will also receive awards.  Finishers' medals to all registered runners and walkers courtesy of IRRC member Bill Leydic.        Post-race refreshments included chips, cupcakes, and Smiley Cookies.  The Smiley Cookies were courtesy of Eat 'N Park and Scott Bowman of Bowman Land Surveying.  Bottled water compliments of ServPro Indiana, PA

       Professional timing was provided by Dave Mapes Timing Service, Somerset, PA.

       The date for the 47th Fool's Run will be announced soon with registration opening in January 2026.​
